 Working on rider licensing reform.
Assessors are inconsistent in their marking of learners during the assessment and
we need a set curriculum for learner riders to be assessed against.
Instructors are shortcutting the system by having a Cert 4 in rider training and never
needing to be reassessed or retested.
Non Cert 4 trainers are required to be retested every 3 years.

Opening and closing balances have been removed for the public record however are
revealed at the meetings by the Treasurer.

A big jump in hits on both our website and Facebook this month due to a few
interesting articles being added. We need to keep this up as it seem to attract new
members. We now have over 800 on our Facebook.

We had our breakfast ride to Pemberton on Sunday 12th March, not a big turnout.

9th April- Day ride to Quindanning
April 23rd – York Motorcycle Festival and Motorcycle Safety Week launch.

The Serpentine/ Jarrahdale council have been very quiet recently but we have a
Road User Group meeting with them coming up soon.
The Vulnerable Road User Group subcommittee meeting will review the 39 actions
from the Governments Motorcycle Safety Strategy Plan.
I have contacted a lawyer following a learner rider being left by his assessor during
his assessment to clarify the Dept. of Transports duty of care in these situations.

STOCK: Lyn not present
Ainslie is looking to put our merchandising on our website for direct selling.

We now have about 180 members some of whom are not currently financial.
Ainslie will contact these members before culling them from our membership list.

Crispy from the Ducati Club gave us the rundown of this year’s Numduc Rally and
handed out fliers and registration form. This year there will be two separate areas,
one for road registered motorbikes and one for unregistered and trail bikes. Quad
bike will not be allowed into the Rally site.

Next Meeting 18th April.
