Hi Guys I hope you are all well and are managing the hot days and keeping cool and hydrated. With the warmer weather we are now getting more turning up for our bi monthly rides and it is good to see many more riders enjoying our great country.The 2013 Perth Motorcycle and Scooter show was a great success for us this year at the Claremont Showgrounds. It is a great place for this type of show and I would like to thank Peter and all the guys from Premier Events for their support and help not only at this show but for their help over many years. I would also like to give a huge thank you to all our members that gave up their time over the three days of the show to help out at our stand. I would also like to welcome the new members that have joined at and since the show (almost 100 to date) I hope to see you on a ride or at our meeting in the New Year.As way of information for our new members as well as being able to join us on some fantastic rides and overnighters and helping for us to continue our work for motorcycle safety and riders right san additional benefit is that most motorcycle insurance companies offer a discount to MRA members which in most cases exceeds you MRA membership fees. There is another surprise benefit that I came across today. I received a call from a very nice lady to say she had found a wallet with no identification except for a MRA membership card, she looked us up on our website and called me with the wallet owners name and I was able after a check on our membership list to put the two of them in contact with each other, and I am pleased to say that our MRA member and his wallet have been reunited.
